HiPPstr

HiPPstr is the future for social networking. Not so long ago the team became un-satisfied with way social networks were run. Most social networks were closed platforms which today, in 2008 is not the way forward. They were difficult to use hence, they didn’t prosper a decent user experience.

These were our set goals:

1. For HiPPstr to be a social network aggregator.
2. For HiPPstr to be available and optimised for as many platforms as possible.
3. For HiPPstr to be an open platform.
4. For HiPPstr to be easy to use.

The first two points were key. We found that to catch up with our friends, in the morning we were visiting 5-15 sites, HiPPstr changes this it aggregates all your social networks into one place allowing you to easily catch up with your friends. We also found that once we left the house we were out of touch with our friends, we want to change this by making HiPPstr available on as many platforms as possible.

Paste.mycodenow & Stikked

Paste.mycodenow is powered by the open-source pastebin Stikked, Stikked allows you to easily share code with anyone you wish and is provided to you for free. I created Stikked for the following reasons:

• IRC and Private Chats were spammed.
• Pastebins were ugly.
• Pastebins were confusing.
• Pastebins were messy and not thought through.

These problems were fixed with Stikked which resulted in a pastebin that’s easy-to-use with a simple and good looking interface, letting you easily paste your code and collaborate with others.

CodeIgniter TextMate Bundle

The CodeIgniter TextMate Bundle is a small project which allows commonly used snippets in the PHP MVC Application Framework to be quickly entered into a PHP document.
